    • at least 3-5 hours IMO. sleep is more important than gym IMO which is why i gave it up.

    • See if you can reverse your excerise routine to right after or before work. Before work will wake you up and stimulate.. after work will be early enough not to interfere with your sleep and stimulate your appetite for dinner.

As a mother of a 4 yr old. I can not excercise until after he is asleep. Thus I can not work out until after eight. I try to walk and excersie when I can with my son. But on late nights I do caardio weight training instead of a full cardio work out. This seems to help me sleep more than interfere with my sleep.

Sorry I couldn't give you an absolute answer.

    • The general conensus I've read is no closer than 3 hours before bed time. Besides the adrenaline, exercise raises body temp which interferes with sleep. Body temp lowers when we sleep. If you are too warm its going to interfere.
